Superstar Rajnikanth and Universal Star Kamal Haasan were the last generation rivals and are close friends too! They shared the screen space with each other long time ago! It was back in 1985 for the Hindi movie ‘Giraftaar’ That was very long ago. Kamal recently got a chance to share screen space with Rajnikanth, he declined the big offer without even considering.
The reason is kamal says that if they had to star in a movie together, it has to be produced by either of the two stars to satisfy their both fans. And the offer that kamal got was from Shankar’s upcoming movie ‘2.O’, sequel for Robo. Kamal was asked to play the villain. But since he declined the role it went to Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar.
Kamal had no objection playing negative roles, but it’s the reason mentioned above for which he didn’t accept the offer!
