After long and continuous schedule of the film 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' the shoot has successfully wrapped recently in Morocco. It was earlier reported that crucial war sequences of the movie were being shot in this schedule and it is said that the production team shelled in Rs.8 crores.
As it is a war sequence shoot, huge number of horses were used in action sequences. In one of those scenes, Balakrishna's horse was surrounded by a couple of soldiers on horses and camels. Threatened by those horses, his horse lost balance and as a result Balakrishna fell off the horse on the ground. But fortunately, he did not get any injuries.
Shriya saran plays romantic interest of Balakrishna in 'Satakarni'. Bollywood's veteran actress Hemamalini plays Balakrishna's mother in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the movie. The movie is directed and produced by Krish on his own production company First Frame Entertainment.
