Sources have stated that the first time director Rajasimha Tadinada says upcoming Telugu release "Okka Ammayi Thappa" would not have been possible without the support of his cinematographer Chhota K. Naidu and the movie features Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menon, nearly 60% of the movie unfolds on a flyover.
Rajasimha has told that this is a very complicated script to make and it had already been rejected 13 times by several producers and had it not been for his vision and support, they could have failed miserably and to shoot on the flyover, they needed 1,000 junior artistes and they were required to shoot with the lead pair.
The story was inspired from an incident from the director's own life and in the movie the hero and the heroine meet on the flyover and fall in love. They get stuck for eight hours and what happens during that interim forms the story.
Sundeep fought for this film and he has believed in it blindly and they had planned to work on this film twice earlier and were produced by Anji Reddy, the movie is slated to hit screens on Friday.
