Mega Star Chiranjeevi's milestone 150th film,remake of katti directed by VV.Vinayak is progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad. Now in a sudden development couple of days back Chiranjeevi cancelled the film's regular shoot. This triggered speculation that Chiranjeevi is not happy with the film's output. Sometime back rumours spread that the Chiranjeevi was short of confidence.
Many wondered why Chiranjeevi cancelled the regular shoot. Now it is comingout that Chiranjeevi cancelled regular shoot as Congress party of which he is the Rajya Sabha MP, issued a whip to be present in Parliament when the bill over special status to AP was introduced in parliament by its MP KVP.Ramachandra Rao.
Chiru immediately cancelled the shooting and flew to Delhi. But the private bill didnot come to voting as BJP stalled the Parliament proceedings over AAP MLA Bhagwant Mann posting the video on his facebook showing the Parliament security checks. Chranjeevi speaking to media said “The BJP is caught between the devil and the deep sea. The bill introduced by KVP has to come up for voting.”
The film's shooting was progressing at singappaguda village near Hyderabad. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film which is slated for release during Sankranthi. Ram Charan is producing the film on Konidela Productions.
