Super Star Rajinikanth's Kabali hit the screens in a grand manner yesterday across the world. Kabali mania shocked people across the world as many companies declared holidays to enable its employees to watch the film.  There was huge competition to get the tickets but many didnot have the luxury of getting one. Even Ministers wrote recommendation letters for Kabali tickets. 


According to the latest Hyderabad cops arrested 11 persons for selling Kabali tickets in black in 11 theatres yesterday. Special Operations Teams (SOT) from Cyberabad East Commissionerate seized 126 tickets and Rs 11640 from them. They were selling tickets for the morning show of the film. 


Police after getting credible information formed special teams and were deployed at various theatres. Tickets were sold upto Rs 2500 near theatres. An official said “They were operating in collusion with theatre staff and parking lot staff,”


Police conduted raids at Krisna and Srinivasa theatres at Uppal, Krishna Chitra Mandir at Nagaram, Raghavendra at Malkajgiri, Sharada at Kushaiguda, Vijayalaxmi at LB Nagar, Konark at Dilsukh Nagar, Sushma at Vanasthali-puram, Indranagendra theatre at Saroor Nagar and two others. Police even booked castes against the theatre managements. 


Cyberabad West conducted raids at Swapna theatre at Katedan, Ganesh at Shamshabad, Srilatha at Chandanagar, Vishwanath at KPHB and Cine town at Miyapur and seized 8 persons selling tickets in the black and seized 63 tickets, 18 online tickets and Rs 1,890 in cash from them.
