Kabali released in humongous number of screens worldwide yesterday amidst of huge expectations but sad fact is it disappointed fans who expected a perfect superstar movie with mass and commercial elements! Superstar Rajinikanth films always stands for fans and family audience that will be a complete meals.
This film Kabali with Director Ranjith is something different which is considered as the director's film. The movie fall short of expectations as it was meant to be an emotional gangster story without any masala and actions it was an out and out simple story with slow screenplay that has Rajini playing old don role which wouldn't impress all.
The thing Ranjith fall short was about detailing. He took lot of time for detailing each and every characters that made lagging screenplay and the strengths in movie were Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Dhansika who shone with their performances. Expectation is the biggest drawback for many films in past days amd this movie too comes under same trouble of a different level expectation from the actual film.
