Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali had registered a whopping 8.6 Crore Share in AP and Nizam on its release day, making it the biggest dubbing first day figure. However the bad talk and reviews seem to have started showing their effect on the film from second day itself. The Noon Shows of the film had shown drops in several areas in both the Telugu States.
The collections of cities are however good mostly due to the advance bookings that happened before the movie release. If this is the case of holidays, we will have to see what is in store for the film from Monday. Big money is at stake on the film as the Telugu rights have gone for a whopping 32 Crores.
Only Overseas distributor is save now and is already minting profits. If the movie can manage to hold on well, there is no competition for the film next week as well as there are no notable releases except for Sunil's Jakkanna. Monday run at the box office should give us an idea about what is in store for the buyers of the film.
