Many are wondering what is PM Modi's connection with movies. Sometime back Paresh Rawal decided to star as PM Modi in a film made on him and produce along with a Gujarat based NRI Mitesh Kumar Patel. Film's director at that time was not finalised.
Now PM Modi despite his busy schedule surprised all by releasing the trailer of a Kannada movie. The film is ttitled '22 July 1947' and this delighted the filmmakers. It is comingout that PM Modi obliged the filmmakers as the film is a patriotic film with powerful message.
Films an adaptationof Saraju Katkar's novel and stars Suchendra Prasad,Atchut Kumar,Sudharani and Nanje Gowda. Plans are on to release the film in Telugu,Tamil apart from Kannada. Vishal Raj is directing the film produced by Sanjay Gowda.
PM Modi praised the filmmakers and wished the filmmakers all the success. Filmmakers thanked Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and MP Suresh for turning their dream a reality.
