The pre-release hype helped the movie to get some record breaking collections in the opening shows. But right from day two, the movie is just like a bubble burst. The movie is facing more negative talk and that has caused considerable damage to its collections.
The movie faced a huge drop in theatre occupancy and we can see deserted stands in most places. Most of the movie halls remained empty. A leading distributor said, "Kabali is just facing some bad fall and due to negative comments, people are not preferring to enter theaters. The ticket prices are also soaring high.
Also there is no one to take care of Post-release publicity in Telugu and those who bought Telugu rights are completely in pitfall. Super Star Rajinikanth is also not in a position to come to Telugu states to publicize the movie. The director also has no face value. 'Kabali' will definitely be a bigger Loss than 'Lingaa'.
