The famous Kamal Haasan who always looks for innovation in his films and attempts to come up with something better came up with ‘Vishwaroopam’ and this is a Rs 95 crores film. But it is more or less clear that some political forces are playing a foul game and giving him a hard time in Tamil Nadu.
‘Vishwaroopam’ is unable to enter the theatres. But in other places where the film is running, the question is, ‘Vishwaroopam’ is a hit or flop. According to few reports, some sections are taking the film with wholehearted appreciation and like the way the whole issue of terrorism was handled. But some movie buffs are feeling frustrated with slow pace.
In a way, ‘Vishwaroopam’ is not a regular film. There is a lot of depth and quality in its making so it may not be much of a typical masala potboiler. In business aspect, the film is already at a loss of Rs 30 crores due to the ban and if it continues then Kamal will have a big burden on his head. This is truly an undeserving thing to happen.
