It is always known that cine people get ransom salary as it is one of the top earning industry in this society. Unbelievable number of zeroes are added for the salary of star heros as they are the onscreen crowd pullers, followed by director, actress and other cast members! But the thing is, if you hear the amount that is earned by other small artists in a film, you'll be awestruck! Here are some tit bits of the amounts they get per day respective to their department. The following amounts are daily charge given for the artists.
Costumers
Onscreen actors were made to look more attractive through their dressings and those costume makers earn according to their work while the first assistant gets Rs:1120, second assistant gets Rs:900 and dressman gets Rs:750 respectively per day.
Make up artists and hair stylists
These are the artists who make the actors more beautiful and stylish and also as per the director ask them to change their look according to story. The additional makeup man, 1st assistant, 2nd assistant and the hair dresser get Rs:1225, 970, 630 and 1225 respectively!
Stunt directors and Stunt artists
These people are one of most hardworking and risk taking artists of cinema and hence there is a difference in amount for them. Wages, Dupe artists and Helpers earn Rs:2550, 3050, 1270 as per call sheet.
Studio workers
Even small workers are important for making a film as the main parts of movie are taken in sets created for shooting and those sets were worked by workers and also tge studio workers are included in this while their charges per day are as follows. Carpenter, Moulder, Painter gets Rs:585 each and Studio Helper get Rs:480.
Junior Artists
Junior artists are other small roles appearing in a movie irrespective of duration but they appear at times. Their salary is according to their popularity while A grade artists get Rs:725, B grade artists get Rs:600, C grade artists get Rs:475 and dupes earn Rs:565 all per day.
Dubbing artists
Some onscreen actors doesn't give their own voice especially female leads! But apart from that heroine, small roles which appear for some purpose are given by usual dubbing artists who get Rs:3500 for small role dubs and people who do dubbing for crowd work get Rs:1300 per day!
Outdoor Lightman
Lightman come under the department of cinematography who are chose by Camera man and they are needed for all shots as they are one who give right lightening in tge shoot! They get Rs: 800 per day if given full call sheet for the movie.
Dancers
Dancers are used only for song shoots and almost they are needed for 15 mins in a usual commercial movie and they get Rs:2000 for call sheet and assistants get Rs:3260 respectively!
Outdoor technicians
Technicians of mechanical works while outdoor shooting is carried on, earn a huge amount apart from their normal works as a Sound recordist/Sound assist get Rs:1900, Electrician gets Rs:900, Generator operator and driver get Rs:850 per day each.
