Hansika who made her filmy debut with Desamudhuru in Telugu did not sustain here beyond few films with star heroes. She put on weight and Tamil Thambis liked the chubby look very much and embraced her big time. Very soon she became a very busy heroine in Kollywood and was never interested in giving dates to Telugu films.
She used to quote very big remuneration demands for Telugu films and would do films only when they accepted. So she was barely doing few films now and then. However, the actress recently slowed down in Kollywood. Sensing the danger, she immediately started contacting the makers of Telugu Cinema.
She even had to slash her remuneration to get offers. She is now signing Telugu films half the price she quotes for a Tamil movie. There is already a dearth of heroines in Tollywood and so offers are coming her way here. She currently has two offers in hand in Telugu - Gopichand - Sampath Nandi's movie as well as Manchu Vishnu's next.
This is her first time with Gopichand. Vishnu Manchu and Hansika are close friends. Both of them have romanced in two films until now - Denikaina Ready and Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda. And now, they are gearing up to pair up for the third time. We are told that Hansika recently signed the dotted line for Vishnu's next film, Luckunnodu.
