Superstar Mahesh Babu's career is interesting. The last three films - Aagadu, Srimanthudu and Brahmotsavaram form a very interesting lineup. Srimanthudu is the non-Baahubali industry hit but the movie before and after that went on to become huge disasters. Both the films have got massive losses to everyone involved in the trade.

Flops and disasters are not uncommon for any star hero in Indian Cinema. They are almost part and parcel for any film star. But then, Mahesh Babu is behaving differently. Brahmotsavam is South India's second biggest disaster of all time. Mahesh Babu fans still managed to get the movie 100 days run.

Brahmotsavam completed 100 days run in Vishwanath Picture Palace, Chilakaluripeta. Almost all the theaters running Brahmotsavam are vacant in the second week itself. It is evident that fans have spent big money for the theater to run with vacant seats for 100 days. This is not at all expected from a Superstar like Mahesh Babu.

A Star hero should not be insecured. They should embrace flops as well just like how they do for hit films. 13 out of the total 18 films of Mahesh Babu have 100 days run and many in them are big flops, revealing the insecurity of the actor and fans. Lets hope the situation will be different for his next film with Murugadoss.
