For past few weeks, there has been lots of buzz regarding Director Sundar.C's next project. Sundar.C formally announced that his next movie will be a periodical fantasy film and it will also be India's most expensive movie ever made. The budget was already fixed at Rs.400 Crores.
Some leading technicians like A.R.Rahman, Art Director Sabu Cyril, VFX Supervisor Kamalkannan and Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee were already roped in. Pre-production work for the movie is already underway and the movie is tentatively titled as 'Sangamithra'.
Initially there were rumours that Mahesh Babu, Vijay is going to do the lead role. Now slamming all rumours, the Director Sundar.C himself has made the news that Jayam Ravi is going to be the male lead role in this movie.
There were lots of names considered for female lead and it is touted that Trisha might be roped in to do female lead role. The shooting for this movie will start by end of this year and the movie is expected to be a treat by Summer 2018. Watch out this space for more updates.
