Director Koratala Siva who is the master brain behind 'Janatha Garage' is calm and composed before the release. He is confident about the end product and he has opened up about all the rumours which is prowling around media. Some of his excerpts from the interview are given below, take a read.
• What is the movie all about ?
This movie is about a man who loves Mother nature a lot and he meets a complete contrasting person like Mohanlal who has another contrasting motto in life. What happens when these two opposite ends meet forms the crux of the story.
• Why Mohan Lal is chosen ?
While I was writing the script, I had Mohan lal in mind and he also accepted as soon as I narrated the script. As per the script, the role should be done by some prolific senior actor and we got Mohanlal.
• Any changes to Malayalam version ?
Yes ! We have made some alterations to suit Malayalam audience. We have chopped off few song and comedy sequences.
• Media said that the movie has been trimmed due to negative talk ?
Nope ! I have not edited a single scene. In fact, I am planning to add 10 more minutes to the movie from second week if everything turns out as expected.
• Who brought Kajal for item song ?
First of all, that song comes at a crucial stage and Producers suggest Kajal's name and I am okay with it. She has done a god job.
• Samantha or Nithya Menen ?
Let me be clear, both the actresses share equal importance in the movie and both bring weightage to the script. Nothing more. Nothing less.
• Are you expecting a hattrick with 'Janatha Garage' ?
