Mollywood’s “Oppam”, the recently released Mohanlal and Priyadarshan movie has succeeded in impressing both the audiences and critics and the suspense thriller has been considered as the best work of Mohanlal and Priyadarshan in the recent times.
As per report from trade analysts, “Oppam” is
performing extremely well at the box office as well and the movie has made a
gross collection 7.24 Crores, within the first weekend (4 days) of its release.
Sources have stated that the movie has made an initial collection of Rs. 1.56 crores on its releasing day, with a net collection of 1.26 crores and share of 74 Lakhs, which was not an impressive figure for a Mohanlal and Priyadarshan movie.
“Oppam” the highly positive reviews has helped the movie to improve the collections, and it made a gross collection of 1.77 Crores on the second day of release and thus, the total collection was raised to 3.33 Crores.
It is stated that “Oppam” has collected 8.40 Lakhs from the
multiplexes of Ernakulam districts, with the first 41 shows and the team
anticipates that the movie will break the record of “Premam”, by crossing 10
crores in first week.
