Mahesh Babu was last seen in the movie 'Brahmotsavam'. The movie was a colossal flop and the failure affected Mahesh Babu so bad. However it got a thumping response from neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. We reported about Tamil magazine praising 'Brahmotsavam'.
Now once again, a Tamil movie has used Mahesh Babu's flop movie as a reference. The recently released teaser of 'Remo' showcased the protagonist standing in front of theatre and he utters, "My banner should be there just like these Super Stars.." Guess what ? We got 'Brahmotsavam', the only Telugu movie below !
Srikanth Addala shaped the family drama 'Brahmotsavam' and Mahesh Babu is doing the lead role. The project is produced by Prasad.V.Potluri under PVP cinemas banner. Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash essay female lead roles.
It should be noted that, even the pirated version of the movie was downloaded in large numbers by Tamil people. Seems Mahesh Babu has better fan base in Tamil Nadu than Telugu speaking states.
