Director Boyapati Srinu proved his mettle by bringing an out of Nandamuri Balakrishna with Simha. He later followed it with another blockbuster like Legend. While every one thought he is only a Balakrishna director, he proved them wrong with Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Sarainodu. The movie which released in Summer 2017 went on to rake more than 75 Crore Share.

The actor is now working on his next project. He has a script ready for Suriya which is on a similar line to Singham and also have an offer for Chiranjeevi for his 151 Project. The director was recently approached by Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao to direct Pawan Kalyan but he refused. Dasari apparently approached him with a script titled 'Bose: The Son of India'

Boyapati is reluctant to work with the proposed script but offered to come up with another script for Pawan Kalyan. But Dasari is keen on doing 'Bose: The Son of India' as that would also help the actor's political career. Boyapati reportedly took this decision after Koratala Siva in an interview alleged that he stole the story and dialogues of Simha.

Boyapati wants to handle the story and dialogues of his next film and bag a big blockbuster. He wants to prove to the world that those allegations are wrong. He do not want to use Dasari's script and later give a chance to the veteran director to say that his script is the secret of the movie success in case it happens to be a blockbuster. But in the process, Boyapati let go a Pawan Kalyan film.
