The regular shooting of Pawan Kalyan's Katayamarayudu began earlier this week. But the makers are yet to finalize the casting of the film. There are four roles of brothers in the film and the makers want some notable faces for those roles. They have approached Young heroes Sharwanand, Naveen Chandra, Raj Tarun and Vijay Devarakonda to play those roles.
But all of them have turned them down because they are little roles and the makers were asking for bulk dates of over fifty days. Kamal Kamaraju has been finalized for one of the brother characters. The rest of the roles have to be finalized. Pawan Kalyan and Kamal Kamaraju previously shared the screen in Jalsa. Manasa is playing Kamal’s love interest in Katama Rayudu.
Shruti Haasan will be romancing Pawan Kalyan in the film. This is their second combination film together after Gabbar Singh which is a blockbuster back then. Anup Rubens is composing music for the film which is being directed by Gopala Gopala fame Dolly. Pawan Kalyan wants to complete the shoot as quickly as possible and proceed to Trivikram's film.
