Superstar Mahesh Babu was seen as an MLA for some brief time in his blockbuster hit, Dookudu. His role back then got a good applause even though it is not a serious role. Buzz in the Filmnagar is that the actor will be shown as a Chief Minister in his next to be directed by Koratala Siva. Not many heroes were seen in the role of a Chief Minister previously.
So it is going to be a special one for Mahesh Babu and his fans. The film will start rolling sometime in January the next year. This will bring back the Srimanthudu combination once again. His recent film, Janatha Garage is a massive blockbuster and the movie is just a yard away from the coveted 80 Crore Share club of Telugu Film Industry.
This is the third blockbuster on a trot for the writer turned director Koratala Siva. His first film, Mirchi back then is the biggest hit in Prabhas' career and then with his second film, Srimanthudu, Koratala delivered a non Baahubali industry hit to Superstar Mahesh Babu. Now, Janatha Garage bettered the previous biggest hit in NTR's career, Nannaku Prematho by at least a 25 Crore Share.
