Young Hero Nikhil seems to be going through a lean patch. The actor recently after back to back successes, stumbled upon a big flop with Shankarabharanam. To make up for the loss, he started a film 'Ekkadaki Pothavu Chinnavaada' with Tiger fame VI Anand. The film started late because of the heroines problem. Finally they managed to rope in Nivetha Thomas, Avika Gor and Hebah Patel.
The movie shooting got delayed for various reasons like Heroines Dates Problem, Shooting Issues and Finance issues due to a new producer. Finally, they somehow reached to the film's last schedule. They went to Chikmagalur, Karnataka for the last schedule but had to come back with some portion left due to the ongoing Cauvery water issues.
And then they say there is an issue going on between director and producer of the film. We are told that the film budget crossed the previous plan. The hero and director wanted to shoot some portion in Abroad but the producer is not in favour of doing that. Shankarabharanam has released in December last year and there are no signs of Ekkadaki Pothavu Chinnavaada release.
