We all know the sensation Rajamouli has created with his Eega. His father Vijayendra Prasad penned the story. Initially, the story was centered on an ant but since it can be killed easily, they replaced it with a house fly. The movie had amassed about 45 Crore share back then and it is a sensation with a housefly begin the major protoganist. Since there are several rumours about the sequel to the movie.
Vijayendra Prasad even revealed that Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is interested to act in Eega Sequel but did not divulge any other details regarding the sequel. Nani spilled beans about the project in one of the interviews, "I keep readying about Eega-2. As a fan of Eega, I want that to happen but there is no update whatsoever. But then I die in the first part and technically can not have a role in the sequel. I still want to happen and is eagerly looking forward to it. But then the decision to make the sequel completely rests with Rajamouli sir".
Rajamouli also evinced the interest to make a sequel to the film but did not divulge any further details of the movie. Eega is one of the monumental films in Telugu film industry. Jakkana making use of technology, made the revenge story of feeble insect so believable. With that movie, Rajamouli had got national-wide fame but due to marketing glitches, the movie could not exploit Bollywood market.
