Nandamuri Balakrishna's Prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni is heading towards being the first 50 Crore Share film in the actor's career. But legal troubles are still haunting the movie due to the Entertainment Tax Exemption granted to the movie by both the state governments.

Both the Telugu governments have extended Entertainment Tax Exemption as the movie is promoting Telugu history.  A PIL was filed on the film's Tax Exemption by AP Government. The lawyer alleged that the exemption was granted just because Balayya is a relative of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The high court took up the case and issued notices to Andhra Pradesh government and the film producer, Rajiv Reddy. The next hearing of the case was posted to coming Tuesday. Gautamiputra Satakarni has got Tax Exemption from Telangana government as well. There are similar allegations from few Telangana associations as well alleging that the movie is just a piece of fiction and is not authentic.
