Malkapuram Shiva Kumar who recently produced Manchu Manoj's Shourya and Nikhil's Surya Vs Surya bagged the Andhra and Nizam rights of the film for a whopping 18 Crore. This is the career best price for Suriya in Telugu Cinema Industry. The film has to do up to 22 Cr Distributor Share in AP and Nizam including Prints & Publicity costs to be a successful venture.
The movie after an average weekend with approx 7.5 Cr Share in Andhra Pradesh and Nizam, has dropped on its weekdays. It was initially thought that it may survive after a fairly good Sunday but proved otherwise on Monday collecting only around 70 Lakhs Share.
But then it may not be possible as things indicate. Singham-3 it looks like will end as a Disaster (<15 Cr Share). A Good Second weekend is needed to help cut some losses for Buyers though. The movie is likely to incur a loss of about 12 Crore in its full run to the buyers.
