Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' which released on March 24th opened to mixed reviews and critics. The movie had some premiere shows on 23rd and tickets were sold like hot cakes. Now, as reported earlier, the movie officially crossed $1 Million mark in the USA.
The movie made $89K at 10 PM CST and the total gross was $1,013,000 by March 27th. Trade pundits, however, feel this is not a big deal for an actor of Pawan's stature and his next target should be $2 or $2.5 Million.
Now, all eyes are on the movie as the next target would be Trivikram's 'A..Aa..' and Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No 150'. Pawan's last release 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' also did an exceptional collection last time. But still, it became a disaster.
In fact, the movie even made 50 Crores+ and still it ended up as a failure. Trade Pundits feel that Pawan's 'Katamarayudu' might end up as an above average or average venture. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
