Actress Taapsee might be the only actress to have tasted some luck in Bollywood. South Indian Film Industry also never gave her a warm welcome as most of her movies were a flop. Ajith's 'Arrambam' is the first movie to give her a 'Hit' status and a good name.
Later, she shifted to Bollywood. She never got the desired Red Carpet welcome even in Bollywood. But after years of struggle, she herself found a spot and now she is a notable actress. During a press meet, Taapsee said,
"Every time I sign a movie, I will just be asked to reduce my wages as the actor's last movie is a failure, it is a low budget, Producer's last movie tanked at Box-Office and so on. Few Producers even harassed me with filthy words.
They told me, either reduce wages or get lost as I don't have a market value. I was depressed. But I took that as motivation and now those who ignored me are standing in the queue at my house and as a payback, I ignore them now. Even though they are ready to pay twice the salary, I am not ready to do movies under their banner.
