Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu has managed to survive in the opening weekend with decent numbers. But then the performance on First Monday is miserable as almost all the centers registering below par openings much to the distress of the Trade.
The film just managed to earn a little over 2 Cr Share in AP and Nizam on the first working day after its first weekend. The performance is nearly similar to last year's disaster movie, Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Considering the costs involved are pretty high, this is a poor Monday for the film
The buyers who have invested big amounts are eagerly waiting for the Ugadi holiday on Wednesday. Anything below 70 Crore Share will be called as a disastrous performance. The movie had registered a Pre-Release Business of 102 Crore which is unprecedented for a movie with a non-star director.
