Mega Prince Varun Tej currently has two projects in hands — Mister and Fidaa. Mister is all set for a grand release this Friday. Fidaa shoot is nearing completion and the makers are yet to finalize their release plan. There is a common point between both the films i.e., they are rejected by other mega heroes before coming to Varun Tej.
Srinu Vaitla first approached Bunny with Mister script. Allu Arjun was very impressed with Mister but was not keen on doing a class film immediately after S/O Satyamurthy. He let go Mister to Varun Tej while he chose Sarainodu after S/O Satyamurthy.
Fidaa was supposed to be a film of Mega Power Star Ram Charan. But then, Ram Charan could not do that for some reason. When Charan came to know Varun Tej is doing the film, he appreciated him for doing a different film. It has to be seen if Bunny and Charan will regret missing both these films.
