As per report from Mollywood sources 'The Great Father', the recently released Mammootty starring family thriller has already earned the blockbuster tag. Currently, The Great Father has become the first Mammootty movie, to enter the prestigious 50 Crore club at the box office.
It was stated that the movie, which is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni, succeeded in entering the 50 crore club within the first 19 days of its release. The Great Father made a gross collection of 50.7 Crores, from its run at the Kerala, rest of India, and GCC releasing centres.
The Great Father, which hit the theatres on March
30th, Thursday, has made a total gross collection of 28.9 Crores from the
Kerala box office alone. The movie has collected 7.83 Crores from the rest of
India box office, within the first 18 days of its release.
