Sources have stated that makers of blockbuster Telugu movie 'Magadheera', have moved to city civil court in Hyderabad on Wednesday against the release of Kirti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'Raabta'.
Currently the makers of Magadheera are seeking an injunction against Raabta's release. They contend that the Raabta film copied its unique story and plot line in violation of its copy right. The Hyderabad court issued a notice and posted the matter to June 1 to decide whether the film must be permitted to release on June 9.
Magadheera was directed by SS Rajamouli, the Telugu
movie was a reincarnation drama. Ram Charan and beauty queen Kajal
Aggarwal had played lead roles in the flick.
Meanwhile it was a trendsetter and a major success in Tollywood. The social media was abuzz with discussions on the striking similarity between both the films ever since the trailer of 'Raabta' was unveiled.
