SS Rajamouli's Magnum Opus film, Baahubali-2, Naga Chaitanya's Rarandoi Veduka Choodham and Venkatesh's Guru are the three hit movies this Summer. Rarandoi Veduka Choodham and Guru are mostly own releases by their producers (Nagarjuna and Suresh Babu) and they have pocketed the majority of the profits on both the films.

So, Baahubali-2 is the only movie that brought cheer to everyone involved in the movie trade. Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu, Puri Jagannadh's Rogue, Mani Ratnam's Cheliya, Varun Tej's Mister, Avasarala Srinivas' Babu Baga Busy, Sharwanand's Radha, Nikhil's Keshava have ended up as disappointments at the box office.

There would have been more releases this Summer if not for Baahubali-2 which engulfed more than a Month at the box office. Now that the schools have opened, Summer holidays advantage is almost over. It has to be seen what is in store for Tollywood in the Second half of the year.
