Hero Shivaji has run out of offers in Tollywood long ago and is moving towards the green pastures of Politics since 2014. He joined BJP just before the 2014 elections and campaigned for the party. Buzz is that he expected to contest from a constituency of Guntur but was denied ticket by BJP and TDP due to alliance calculations.
Later on, the actor even lobbied for a post in TTD which also did not happen. Shivaji distanced himself from BJP as well as TDP and is since then trying to corner both the parties.Buzz is that Shivaji is looking at Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party and is buttering the Power Star in all the interviews.
In one of his recent interviews, Shivaji went on to say Special Status is not a forgotten issue as the parties say. He even said Special Status will automatically come if Pawan Kalyan to come on roads for just one week. At the same time, Shivaji is also not criticizing Jagan to keep his options open.
