Vijay's 'Mersal' first look poster was released a few hours back and it showcased Vijay's tag as 'Thalapathy'. This clearly shows how desperate Vijay is trying to prove himself and everyone he is the next Rajinikanth. 

But, is he for real? Social Media and fan base says a different story. Ajith never interacts with fans on Social Media nor promotes his movie nor give interviews to Television channels or web portals. But still, every move of him will be keenly noticed and celebrated. 

The current situation in Kollywood is when Vijay is trying desperately to prove he is the next Superstar of Tamil cinema with tags, success meets, Ajith moves silently beyond Superstar's height. And yes, we are not kidding! The current scenario says it all.

Earlier, Rajini movie will come once in a blue moon and fans will be waiting with a thirst to watch it. But right now, the situation is upside down. Rajini acts without any gap and even his shooting spot leaked stills doesn't evoke any interest. On the contrary, Ajith works on one movie for a year or two and fans are waiting so desperate to see a glimpse of him anywhere.

Rajini spoiled his reputation with unwanted Political criticisms in recent times. Also, his instability in Politics is trolled so bad on the Social media.  Even, Actor Vijay pokes his nose into various Political issues and his father openly confessed he wanted his son to rule the state of Tamil Nadu. But, once again Ajith refrains himself from all the Political nonsense.

Apart from all these, Ajith is the trendsetter in the Film Industry. He is the first actor who started to reveal movie titles late. He began this trend with 'Mankatha'. Similarly, he openly said, he doesn't need any tag before his name and he stopped using 'Ultimate Star' tag after 'Billa. He also disbanded his fan clubs after his 50th movie 'Mankatha' and asked his fans to take care of their families. The only request he made to his fans is if they really adore him, he asked them to watch his movies on theater and avoid piracy. 

And apart from all these, his fan base never got reduced at any instant. In fact, when everyone has fans, Ajith has a family. The bonding between Ajith and fans is too intense and it will never even go thin at any instant. So, let the fight for the tags Superstar, Ilayathalapathy, Thalapathy, etc., go on., Ajith has reached a whole new level where no one can even dream of!
