Any Director would be fed up if all of his movies are dropped or getting stationed midway. Director Gautam Vasudev Menon is no exception. He has reached the saturation point as all of his movies are called off or they were dropped.
Everything went on a smooth note until Ajith's 'Yennai Arindhaal' got released. Soon after that, Gautam Menon decided to direct STR for 'Achcham Enbathu Madamayada' and that's the starting point for all the problems. He struggled a lot before completing that movie and releasing it.
Gautam Menon even made an open statement that Naga Chaitanya was too professional and STR was not. Later, he started directing Dhanush for 'Ennai Noki Paayum Thotaa' and that movie is kept on hold due to financial reasons. Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' is also thrown into the wraps and his production movie 'Nenjam Marapathillai' is also struggling to get a release date.
All these made Gautam Menon reach a point where he decided to walk out of heroes and do a female-centric subject. He has approached Anushka for a spy thriller subject which would be entirely a female-centric one too. Anushka also gladly signed the dotted line and soon we can expect an official announcement.
