As per latest report from Bollywood sources it was stated that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is getting a whopping Rs 12 crore as remuneration for her upcoming film 'Padmavati'. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali the film also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles.
According to sources, Deepika Padukone has apparently devoted an entire year for the period drama 'Padmavati', in which she is essaying the titular Rajput queen. Sources have stated that this could possibly justify her astronomical salary demand. It was stated that Deepika was recently approached for a film featuring one of the Khans, she quoted the same sum as 'Padmavati' as her asking price.
Meanwhile the producers were taken aback at this, since it's a two heroine
film and the other actress, would also have a list of her own demands. But,
sources have stated that Deepika remind adamant. Moreover Deepika Padukone has
been a part of recent box offices successes like 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Piku'.
Padmavati is slated to hit screens on November 17.
