Bollywood's actress Priyanka Chopra has taken the West by storm ever since she starred in American TV series Qauntico and recently Baywatch. On the other hand, Priyanka is also known for her production house, Purple Pebble Pictures that produces regional films as of now.
But now the news is that the diva will be soon venturing into producing shows in the West, which is the first on being an American TV series on ABC channel. Amongst the co-producers, Madhuri Dixit Nene’s name has showed up. The duo will co-produce the series with Mark R. Gordon and Nick Pepper.
Sources have stated that the show is being written by Sri Rao and is yet
untitled. The story will revolve around a Bollywood superstar who settles in
the suburbs of the city with her bi-cultural family and brings her out of the
box point of view to notice in the rather stereotype town.
