Thala Ajith's Vivegam is releasing in Telugu as Vivekam. The First Look Teaser of the movie released last night has got a good response from the social media Junta. Vamsadhara Creations has acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of Vivegam for a whopping 4.5 Crore. The movie is releasing on August 10th in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
In such case, 4.5 Crore is a risky amount given that three Telugu movies - Nithin's Lie, Bellamkonda Srinivas' Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Rana Daggubati's Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Forget about the patronage of the audience, the movie will not even get a good number of theaters for release.
But then delayed release will have the problem of Piracy and the success will depend on the talk of the Tamil version. Ajith is struggling to create a market in Telugu despite his best efforts. He has to get his planning right for that to happen. Vivekam is made on a huge budget of 110 Crore. It is a stylist film and the makers say that it will remind one of James Bond movies.
