As per latest report from Bollywood sources it was stated that Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister in her upcoming film Haseena Parkar. The movie’s release was postponed in order to avoid a clash with A Gentleman.
Meanwhile a source close to the film revealed, "The decision to postpone the film was taken last week. Anil Thadani, the producers and director Apoorva Lakhia realized that August was cluttered with too many releases. They realized that Haseena Parkar will have to compete with two biggies that are releasing in the weeks before Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal and Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha."
Currently if a leading daily is to be believed, the
actress is about to hold a special screening of her film Haseena Parkar just
for her close friend Farhan Akhtar. A source quoted to the daily
saying, "Shraddha wants Farhan to see her performance in the film,
and give his opinion. She thinks Farhan will give a fair and honest opinion on
her film, considering he’s both an actor and director."
