Chennai-based journalist Dhanya Rajendran is being badly  trolled for tweeting that she walked out of Vijay’s film Sura as the film was a bad watch some years ago.With this comment Vijay’s fans were so tempered that she was trolled badly in form of memes and tweets in the media.Now the actor has come up with the statement telling his fans to respect women as respects them a lot .

He even urged his fans not to pass any odd comments to hurt or disgrace women. He requested his fans and supporters to not post anything on social media or through twitter that can be taken as an insult to women.

“I respect women in society. Anybody has the freedom of expression to criticise anybody’s film. In my opinion, whatever the circumstances, no one should reveal contemptuous or disgraceful comments on woman. I urge everyone not to post anything on internet with the instinct that harms women. ”said the actor.
