Jaya Janaki Nayaka, the Boyapati Srinu directorial starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Rakul Preet Singh, Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu, Sarathkumar, was released on the extended Independence Day weekend, on August 11, along with two more flicks, Teja's Rana Daggubati- Kajal Aggarwal starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Hanu Raghava Pudi's LIE starring Nithiin, Arjun and Megha Akash.
Though the mass entertainer with ample doses of romance and family sentiments received mixed reviews and was on the verge of losing out to LIE which gained better reviews among the three releases and Nene Raju Nene Mantri which turned out to be a comeback flick for Teja, JJN is slowly attracting its target audience.
The Oora Mass content packed well by Boyapati Srinu in JJN has worked perfectly, and the masses and family audience have showered love on it, as the other 2 releases have slowed down and JJN has been screened in 100 extra screens in AP and Telangana, in its second week. Rakul Preet promoted the movie single handed and now, in the end, it has paid off!
