The Madhya Pradesh born beauty Shalini Pandey earned accolades for her debut performance as Preethi Shetty in the recent phenomenon of South Cinema Arjun Reddy. The actress who had previously been a part of Hindi TV serials has a rich experience in theatre plays and aced her act impressing audience and critics, with her role that required her to be innocent for a part of Arjun Reddy, and mature for another part.
Now, the actress has landed in a good offer to exhibit her talents to Kollywood as well, as she has been signed to play the female lead in '100 % Kaadhal', the remake of 2011 Summer Superhit '100% Love' directed by Sukumar. The original had Nag Chaitanya and Tamannaah playing leads, and the Tamil version will have music director turned actor G.V.Prakash paired with Shalini, who'll reprise the popular role of Mahalakshmi which earned praises for Tamannaah.
Besides, in Tollywood, Shalini Pandey has bagged yet another exciting project, the Savithri biopic Mahanati directed by Naga Ashwin, in which she'll play Actress Jamuna who was a close friend of the legendary actress. She'll be starring alongside big stars like Keerthi Suresh (who plays Savithri), Samantha, Dulquer Salmaan (who plays Gemini Ganesan) Prakashraj (who plays producer Chakrapani), besides her Arjun Reddy costar Vijay Devarakonda himself in a crucial role.
