Action hero Gopichand tasted a moderate success at the box office after a very long time, with his latest release Gautham Nanda. Directed by Sampath Nandi, the film had him playing dual roles for the first time in his career and pairing with bikini beauty Catherine Tresa and the bubbly Hansika Motwani. The film turned out to be a comeback for him after Loukyam and grossed more than 25 crores at the box office.
Now, the actor is hoping to consolidate his position and extend the success streak by releasing his yet another flick in the coming weeks. The movie is going to be none other than the long delayed Oxygen, directed by Jothi Krishna who had earlier directed Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu, Jadhoo and Oo La la la, all of which were commercial failures. The film had its first single released a week back, and now it has been revealed that the film has a song sung by the producer Aishwarya herself.
It must be noted that Aishwarya is Jothi Krishna's wife. Presented by A.M.Ratnam, Oxygen had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and stars Jagapathi Babu in a crucial supporting role, besides Anu Emmanuel and Raashi Khanna as the lead ladies. The makers are targeting an October 12 release.
