The tall and handsome Rana Daggubati achieved worldwide fame with his performance as the evil antagonist Bhallaladeva in SS Rajamouli's Magnum Opus Baahubali series recently scored a decent commercial success with the political entertainer Nene Raju Nene Mantri which turned out to be a comeback flick for ace director Teja as well.



While Rana has already starred in few Hindi flicks like Dum Maaro Dum, Department and also made his Tamil entry with flicks like Aarambam and Bengaluru Naatkal, he's now all set to make his Hollywood debut with a film that will be set in India. This period flick, will be directed by Dhwanil Mehta and bankrolled by a London based production house. Titled Vijil: Mystery of the Phantom Ship, the film is about the ship Vijil which went missing with 700 passengers onboard, during a cyclone in 1988. Rana will reportedly play a scientist on the lookout for rescuing the lost passengers.

It must be noted that early this year, Rana Daggubati gave a successful war flick Ghazi directed by Sankalp Reddy, which was again set in the sea backdrop. Rana Daggubati meanwhile is Having his plate full with commitments like the web series Social, the Tamil flick Madai Thirandhu and many more interesting projects in various stages.
