Jr NTR has been basking in the glory of the super successful result of his pre - Dussehra weekend Release Jai Lava Kusa. Despite opening to mixed to average reviews from the critics, the film has reportedly raked in more than 80 crores at the box office and is all set to become the Highest grosser in NTR's career.
Apart from the staggering collections in AP/TG, Jai Lava Kusa has silently created yet another record in another territory considered most valuable and profitable by Tollywood makers. On Saturday, Jai Lava Kusa surpassed the esteemed 1.5 million mark at the US box office. With this movie, Jr NTR becomes the first hero in South Cinema to score a hat-trick of 1.5 million mark movies in the US.
NTR's previous releases Janatha Garage by Koratala Siva and Naanaku Prematho by Sukumar collected 1.8 million and 2 million at the US respectively. Jai Lava Kusa directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby, co-stars Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas as female leads and Ronit Roy and Abhimanyu Singh as antagonists.
