Things are turning too bad for Tamil cinema industry as the whole industry stands united against Tamil Nadu Government right now. Tamil Nadu Producer's Council President Vishal confirmed that no movies will be released until the Entertainment Tax exemption is provided.

The whole of Tamil cinema was busy with 'Velu Naachiyaar' stage play at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai and speaking at the event, TFPC President Vishal said, "I was really in a huge stress and this drama has been a stress buster to me.

Vishal owes to fight with govt

Just like 'Velu Naachiyaar' who fought with British and never paid taxes, I will fight with the TN government and get tax exemption. My way of fighting against the Government is going to be a brainy one and not a physical one. I am glad the whole industry has been united for this cause."

Veteran actor and former TFPC President Sarath Kumar also extended his support and has requested the Government not to trouble the industry with more taxes and burden them. Vaiko, R.Parthiban, Vijayakumar, and many other celebrities also voiced against the Government.
