MARD (Men Against Rape & Discrimination) is a social campaign started by Bollywood actor and director Farhan Akhtar after Pallavi Purkayastha, a Mumbai lawyer, was sexually assaulted & then killed by her home watchman in 2012. MARD campaign was taken forward by B-town star heroes wearing t-shirt with MARD's logo at public events and changing their social networking profiles with its logo.
Super Star Mahesh Babu was asked to be face of MARD in south India and he accepted it with open heart. Recent released pic of Mahesh wearing MARD logo t-shirt has created huge buzz in social media. Now the lyrics lines which Mahesh is going to sing came out.
The song has lyrics penned by Chandrabose and starting lines goes like this “Evari Kanulu Karunato Merusthayo… Evari Maatallo Nijayiti Dhwanisthundho.” The original Hindi version of song was written by Javed Akhtar and the song will see stars from different states performing in their own local languages. As mentioned earlier on Mahesh birthday 9th August Telugu MAED song video is going to be released, stay tuned for it folks.
