Dreamgirl Sridevi's daughter Jahnvi Kapoor has been constantly in the news, thanks to the media covering her moves, be it the private parties where she is seen in glamorous attires, or her family vacations, and have already made her a familiar name. While the whole industry was speculating her entry to films soon and was anticipating it to happen with a south film, it has been revealed that the pretty babe will make her debut with a Bollywood movie, Dhadak. This movie will have Jahnvi playing a young college going girl, whose love takes her on an unanticipated journey.
The film has Jahnvi Kapoor paired with Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor's brother, and is directed by Shashank Khaitan of Badrinath ki dulhania and Humpty Sharma ki dulhania fame, and is produced by Karan Johar in his Dharma productions. This movie is the official Hindi remake of 2016 blockbuster Marathi movie Sairatb by Nagraj Manjule, that won several national awards.
This is just the debut movie for both the actors and still it trended Worldwide on the Social media and surprised everyone. The new couple has ignited the teenage romance and people have lapped up them which is normally seen only for star actors. This time the young actress Jhanvi has done it. Let's see if Dhadak, to be released on 6 July 2018 succeeds at the box office, unlike Sairat's Kannada version Manasu Mallige.
