Megastar Chiranjeevi had a remarkable comeback to films after his political sojourn, with the Blockbuster VV Vinayak directorial Khaidi No 150, which was his 150th flick, and became a Sankranthi superhit, announcing that the Megastar is still a force to reckon with, in Tollywood industry.
Without any delays, he got committed to do his 151st flick, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the biopic of legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy. This film, which is set to begin shooting next year, has got an interesting casting update, as character artist Brammaji will play an important role in the movie. Known for his comedy laced supporting Roles, Brammaji will play a key role in Sye Raa.
Sye Raa is bankrolled by Ramcharan in his Konidela Productions and also stars Nayanthara as the female lead, and Amitabh Bachchan as Chiru's Guru, Jagapathi Babu, Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi making his debut and Sudeep and Pragya Jaiswal. The movie has music by AR Rahman.
