It's a known fact that, actor/Director Silambarasan aka Simbu aka STR has been issued a red card by Tamil film industry, which will prevent him from acting in films, and will also prevent producers and directors From casting then in their films until he responds to the complaint filed against him.
Michael Rayappan,the producer of Simbu's last release Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan aka AAA, directed by Aadhik Ravichandran and costarring Tamannaah and Shriya Saran, bombed at the box office thanks to Simbu's irresponsible behaviour and extreme torture, leading to mental health impact and losses of almost 40 crores, making him file a complaint against Simbu. He even said Trisha and Lakshmi Menon returned their advance after knowing it's STR who is going to do the lead role.
Post the issuance of Red, Simbu has now said that he'll be definitely acting in his upcoming flick directed by Maverick maker Maniratnam, as rumors came that he'll be eliminated and replaced with some other hero. Simbu further added that he'll begin shooting for Maniratnam's Multi-starrer from January 20, and that no one can stop him from acting on it.
