The whole of Tollywood was shocked and surprised when three different makers announced 3 different versions of the biopic of legendary actor NTR, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. While two of these completely involved controversies, the third was one that involved his family itself.
One of these versions was Lakshmi's Veeragrandham, directed by Kethi Reddy, which was rumored to have either the bikini bombshell Raai Laxmi Or the PSV Garudavega girl Pooja Kumar, and even Aishwarya Rai was speculated to play Lakshmi. However, all the heroines denied their involvement in the extremely controversial project.
Similarly, the controversial director Ram Gopal Varma had also announced Lakshmi's NTR which details NTR's life from Lakshmi's perspective, but this project has also been put on the backburner, with RGV moving on to Nagarjuna's cop flick.
The family's own project with Balakrishna starring as NTR in Teja's direction isn't happening as well as Balaiya has decided to star in SV Krishna Reddy project after Jai Simha. It is speculated that all the makers have stalled the NTR Biopics after political interventions.
